WonderCon 2010
on March 31, 2010 at 12:31 pmSo, we’re at the eve of WonderCon 2010, Northern California’s answer (?) to San Diego Comic-Con. Well, that makes it sound more aggressive than it really is, as both are run by the fine Comic-Con International folks. (I wonder when the “international” part kicks in.)
In any case, we’re going to be rocking over at booth #420, pardoning any drug references, and hawking the Steam Crow goodness to any who might listen.
What are our top 10 things about WonderCon and San Francisco?
- Hanging out with our friends Deb Aoki and the Hockins
- Eating fabulous San Francisco food! It’s da best.
- Enjoying the big, but not too big, WonderCon crowd.
- Having 3 days (instead of just 2) to show off our wares.
- Talking to all of the SF artists and creative folks. (There are many living in SF)
- Rain and very cool air, before Phoenix becomes a furnace of incredible heats.
- Damp pillows (Hey, it’s very dry in Phoenix.)
- Seeing all of our Convention buddies like the Loters, Ben Walker, Paul Horn, Travis Hanson, to name a few.
- Longingly gaping over the fence at Pixar in Emeryville. (I do that just about every time.)
- Wondering who the famous artist is, that we’re talking to.
Here’s a map of where you can find us. (Go to Halfpixel, and then turn around. You should see our wall o’ prints ®:
We’ll be showing off our poison bottles, books, and buttons along with:

And our new Monster Commute traffic novel:
Dawna and I look forward to seeing you there.
