BOOM! This storyline/arc is the bomb! I love the worldbuilding you’re doing. This is really shaping up to be something epic
I’m confused. If they are trying to find hank who is ‘old’ enough to have knowledge of geography, but the characters themselves seem old enough to possess that knowledge, wouldn’t that make this part of the story arc pointless? Is Hank supposed to be even older then 1200 years old? Sorry if these questions will be revealed shortly in the story, just sort of stuck out for me a bit.

Probably all Miyazaki films. I am quite the fan of Laputa Castle in the Sky and Kiki’s Delivery Service. Sorry those aren’t really ‘hard fantasy’, I guess Stardust and the Harry Potter series would be on the list for me too. Favorites lists are always hard for me, I always have too many!

While the characters are quite old, it doesn’t mean that they know where CREATU is. Hank, evidently is both older, and wiser. Plus, Beastio is forgetful.
Yeah, Miyazaki is definitely fantasy, and definitely great.
