I like fake money. Like play money.
However, I don’t like fake real money; I like fake fantasy money, especially coins.
I’ve got a small collection of pirate coins from an assortment of games and kids roleplay sets. However, I recently came across Campaign Coins, and I’m smitten; I must have some!

The starter set would be rad. I think that they did a pretty terrific job of not making crappy coins, and really sculpting them to be super cool. I’d consider putting some of mine in a display case, besides the ones that I’d fondle.
I’d like to do some Monster Commute coins, but they probably won’t be quite as dimensional. But heck, wouldn’t it be cool to have some of those too, don’t you think?!

Fantasy coins are neat and at the same time, real coins from different places are equally interesting to me. It is fun to find things that you enjoy. Do you ever wonder if there is a genetic string of things that we like? Maybe, it skips a generation!
I have a coin collection too, of foreign coins. And yeah, they’re super cool. Fantasy coins have a special appeal to me, for some odd reason that I can’t explain.
(Perhaps genetic)
That last panel is pretty badass. Especially since I’ve been thinking about a trip I took to New Orleans a year ago.
Also, coins are super cool. I bought a “pirate” spin-the-top game just because of the coins that came with it. Those are amazing looking. The starter set is a bit expensive for the casual observer.
Hmm. You know, now the currency design bug wants to bite… Where’s the
