Steam Crow SDCC 2009 Gallery
on August 1, 2009 at 3:55 pmHere is a gallery of images from the San Diego Comic-Con 2009.
We had a record breaking show, which is always nice to be able to say. It exceeded my expectations, for certain, and continues to make me optimistic about our future.
And no, we couldn’t do this all alone. Special thanks to everyone who helped make this happen for us:
- Kaid Davis, for being patient with us over the past few months while we tried to get stuff done. (Instead of playing.)
- Daryl and BJ Lamfers, for support and watching our goblin for over a week.
- Dirk and Jenni – For watching Steam Crow central, and helping us make 2000 buttons over several weekends.
- Gren Radcliff – For donning the decaying Steam Crow costume, fetching us lunches, and helping us help people buy stuff. Awesome!
- Matt Solberg – For bringing our 5000 late business cards to San Diego, when we were already there.
- Ben and Andrea Walker – For setting up our hotels, sharing the suite, and being fun boothmates to boot. CONAN!
- Angel and Charles of Walker – The tears, ants, and laughter will echo in the twilight of our dreams.
Thanks to you for checking this out, and supporting us as well. You guys are great.
- Daniel and Dawna Davis

Awesome! Looks like you all had a great time! I loved the “Daft Punk” gloves on the Steam Crow costume!
Yeah, those were Gren’s addition. I thought that he made a really good Steam Crow… he’s all legs, where I’m all belly.
Thanks Gren!
It was good seeing you guys there and getting my shirt!

Yeah, Andrew, your photos are great. Highly recommended.
Thanks for your friendship and support.
These pictures show a SEVERE lack of steampunk goggle captain hat… just sayin…
Looks like a good time was had!

Hey Jodon! It was epic fun.
Goggles on hat, you can see that anywhere. I might wear it at Sabotencon, if you’ll be there this year.
With the new spud out and about, I don’t know how he’ll feel traveling to AZ. We’ll see. I’ll let you know should we make an appearance.
The booth looks amazing! Your setup impresses me more every time I see it. Oh yeah, I’ll send you an update this morning if I can keep awake long enough to get it done. Eyes are heavy…
D&D – it was great meeting you, the photos are great, and I am subversively wearing my Crow Authority pin today. However, it has become apparent to me that I spent WAY too little money at your booth.
Great meeting you as well.
As far as booth spending, we have this fancy shop thing to fix that “problem.”
Wear your badge with honor. It makes you 27% more powerful, and 86% more confident.
I’m Gren’s mom. You guys are great and Ryan is my awesome child.
