Automobiles that I’ve owned:
- 1981 Chevy Citation: Black with sunroof.
- 1976 AMC Hornet: White, with irresponsible brakes.
- 1984 Buick Century: Light blue, electric windows. (Grandma’s car)
- 1990 Toyota Corola: Beige. (Dawna’s workhorse. Dropped transmission.)
- 2000 Saturn Wagon: Hunter green, great gas mileage. (Still running, weak air conditioning.)
- 2002 Town & County Van: White, electric windows, air conditioning.
Next? I dunno.
I wish that I didn’t have to buy another car for the rest of my life, but that isn’t very realistic.

Guys liked to race American cars on the quarter mile in my hometown. One of my first cars was an emerald racing green, manual Triumph TR7 with a white rally stripe and it was not a quarter mile car, but there were some noodley roads around the lakes that I could leave those muscle cars in my dust! I never raced for ‘pink slips’ as I didn’t want to take their cars!
Yeah, it was 38 degrees here this morning and I rode my Hizzle Dizzle. Riding in a cage is nuttin compared to rockin some loud pipes and rollin on “2″… The looks I get walking into the office in head to toe black leather is awesome. I like the smell of leather, gasoline and exhaust as well as all the scents along the road. No cell phone distractions, no radio, no cruize control, no ‘automatic’ anything. It is a great day to be me.
New fan here. As a graphic designer, I bow before your superior Illustrator skills. Hopefully, by tagging along, some will rub onto me
Awesome. I’m a graphic designer too.
How’d you find us?
By far my favorite car was my black 1989 Lincoln TownCar. Basically, it’s a lovechild of the Batmobile and a hearse. It was longer than my sister’s minivan. I also liked my little silver Saturn coupe. The TownCar was named Rufus Onfire. The Saturn I never named. My Mercury Grand Marquis was Marquis Mark.
Marquis Mark! LOL!
Batmobile + Hearse = cool!
