Question the Authority Contest – Winners

This was more difficult than expected. Honestly, every one of your entries made me laugh, smile, and/or belch chicken fumes. But, we had to pick a winner, and Dawna and I discussed each entry.
3rd Place – 1 print – Bryson DeJong – Bryson had 2.5 entries, one digital and one real, and 1/2 real. He made us laugh, and clearly put a bunch of effort into his spray painted entries too. We especially liked the “I Bite You, the Authority is lame.”
2nd Place – 2 prints – Barney Firks – seeing Tattoo superimposed over the Sky Scouts poster was really odd, and really funny. Context was a little low, but bonus points for posting the print in public. And, it was well done.
1st Place – 3 prints – Smilin’ Phoenix – Mr. Phoenix was judged to be the most creative, and his 2 entries showed the most context to the Monster Commute story. We really liked how his images told a story, and demonstrated knowledge of what’s happening in Monstru. Sure, he didn’t post his posters in public, but hist context was the highest.

This is quite an honor, as I know there are many that could quicly lap this old Troll on the Photoshop track. It was fun and I have no delusions of ever winning this way again. (if you did not notice, I did steal/borrow an image of Daniel for the brownish submission that I called “Pyro”. See? That is him in the moustache, goggles and Sharpie in his pocky!)
I tip my helmet to the other winners as well as “Chicks up Crows Down” by Wesley Cleveland! You funny!
