My step dad has a farm, and he often buys and repairs old farm equipment. He buys used because this stuff is insanely expensive new, and it’s the only real way that he can afford to keep the farm running.
However, old equipment dies, and as it does, it begins to pile up in stacks of rusting detris.
Now, after being on the farm for more than 20 years, there is a fair amount of this junk lying around. The old trailer, a dump truck with plants growing out of the dirt-filled bed, the old turn of the century saw-mill, and lots of junk tractors, cars, and unidentifiable pieces of equipment.
This white-trash car-house was inspired by all of that.

Unworry is now my new favorite word…
And I feel I’ll be using it quite a bit when one considers the usual reaction I get when I say things like “I have an idea”, “Hey, wanna see something really cool?”, or if I start to hum the theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
You know, I lived in a mobile home in South Carolina for about a year… doesn’t get much more white trash than that, I even got a car I could leave in the yard to complete the effect.
I lived in a 8×20 camping trailer with no electricity or plumbing (with my mom and step-dad) for a year and a half.
It was a 1960′s beast, with peeling yellow paint.
White trash I know… because I too have lived it.
The best part of the whole ordeal was when I got pulled over by a cop down there just because I had New Jersey tags on my car… and that’s the exact reason he gave me at the time too.
Trailer Park or Mobile Home Community?
White Trash or Angelo-Recycleables?
Hobby Farm or Rust Accelerator?
Perspective is everything, amigo!
I think “unworry” is my new favorite word, too…that is, if Marrock doesn’t mind sharing! My love for Kip is deep and abiding.
