Los Angeles Festival of Books 2011
on April 28, 2011 at 7:38 amThis weekend we find ourselves in Southern California for the LA Times Festival of Books.
We’ll be at booth #220, just around the corner from Baby Tattoo Books.
We’ve only done two other book shows in the past, the most recent was the Tucson Book Festival. Tucson was a really great show, and we had our best first-time show there, which was doubly cool. Cool folks in Tucson; I’d like to do more there in the future.
Now that we have 5 books, it feels like we’re “book centric” enough to do these book festivals. Heck, there are lots of folks doing them with only 1 book, so we’re fine in that regard.
New Stuff
We’re debuting a bunch more of our new wooden badges, which most folks have yet to see. (Only WonderCon and a Mesa Steampunk Street folks have seen them so far.) We have 7 new designs for the LA Book Fest, which is cool.
I promise to take some photos of them next week, when I finally have a brief chance to catch my breath. It’s been a spring of sprinting, let me tell you.
Here’s a few to tide you over for a bit.
If you’re anywhere near Los Angeles, please stop by the book fest, and say “hullo.” We’re bringing books, a new READ print, our wooden badges, new buttons, KlawBerry plushies, and a bunch of goggles – if you need those.
Should be a grand time and will mark the end of a BIG April for us,
- Daniel

I hope you bring a bunch of the wooden badges to San Diego!
That’s totally the plan.
I want to have 20 really nice designs by then.
In any case, we’re going to bring everything that we’ve got!
