The first gods of Monstru were huge and powerful rulers, but they were eventually defeated and turned into clouds. Today, they drift without any kingdom, relegated to doing little more than controlling the local weather.
This happened so very long ago that no one remembers what they were called. Now, we just call them the “cloud gods.”
