KlawBerry episode 3 of 5.
For me, the design of KlawBerry is a bit of an homage to Tezuka’s Mighty Atom. (AKA, “Astro Boy.”) I love the design of AstroBoy, and actually really like Tezuka a good deal. Every year I read another Tezuka book at my friend Deb Aoki’s house, since she has a Manga collection from Hades.
Anyway, KlawBerry was the first character that I created that felt like she was part of this world, and Monstru.

KlawBerry is a little monster girl from Monstru’s deep past. She’s had her eye stolen, and her quest to get it back is documented in our book “KlawBerry: Good Girl, Bad World.
