STEAMCROWEEN went off as planned. Was a pretty great time. Our turnout at Red Hot Robot was the best that we’ve ever had. The crowd started earlier, stayed bigger longer, and was pretty sweet.
We gave out a swag bag full of Steam Crow goodness for the best costume. Nobody had a strict Steam Crow costume, so we gave out a prize for the best steampunky one. It was great. Photos are in the inbox, but I’m way to exhausted to post just yet.
Also this weekend was the Phoenix Design Week, or attempt to start building community here in PHX, and perhaps even get it on the map. While I am from Spokane, I feel like I’m really part of the Phoenix design/comic/art scene, and am proud to be a small part of it. Turnout was pretty good for a first time even, and the speakers were really good too.
My talk with Eric Torres (Alter Egos) went pretty well too. While we were speaking I wasn’t so sure, but we had many people come and talk to us after wards claiming that it was inspiring for them. That was the aim, so awesome! We just talked about what we’re doing, and what we know.
Other than that, I’m just super tired, and I want to spend a little time with my wife and son.
Then, I’ll be up at 4:30 am again, making comics.

Lemon on a papercut wasn’t a big seller so we dropped it.
Other flavors of death are being worked on though, expect them to appear at a convenience stores and ammo dumps near you soon.
So yeah, I did giggle, even if it isn’t right.
