Just healing up from the Emerald City Comicon.

No, I’m not injured or hurt. I’m just exhausted.

I think that Saturday at ECCC was probably one of the busiest Steam Crow days ever, at any convention. (Including SDCC.)

The crowd was huge, folks were happy, and we were selling prints, books, buttons, and plushies, like crazy. We ran out of our 100 exclusive prints 4 hours into the show, and our Miso Hungry print was gone by the end of the day.

It was pretty durned incredible.

Sunday was no slouch either, and we continued to sell our stock and talk to people until they closed the doors on us.

We saw a bunch of old friends (Ben and Andrea Walker, James and Rebecca Hicks, team Cool Jerk, Jamie Baker, Joshua Ellington, booth neighbors Jfish and Greg and Meredith Gran, Nate and dang more.)

I re-introduced myself to Derek “Monster” Thompson, one of the finest monster illustrators in the galaxy, and then suggested (jokingly) that my world would be a better place if he were poisoned.

Then I realized that I shouldn’t really threaten (even jokingly) strangers, so I gave him a bottle of goblin poison, and called it even. I was just trying to demonstrate that I admire and respect Derek, and that his talents are simply amazing and it just isn’t nice to be so very good.

I probably should stop threatening people, but it’s so hard with this silent villain mustache o’ mine.
