Freedom is an illusion for most of us, right?
Sure, we don’t have to go to work every day, but if we don’t, we’re not so free to eat or live in a sheltered place.
As adults, we’re all aware of such even if we don’t try to think about it.
But there is another illusion that we need to also be aware of. Primarily, the avocado.
I don’t believe in avocados. There, I’ve said it.
They are a mockery of apples and oranges and other “proper” fruits.
My proof:
- Next time you see an “avocado” look closely. I think you’ll agree that it’s nothing more than a rotten pear. All slimy and green inside. Yuk! That’s no fruit and it’s not right.
I rest my case.
Avocados are a lie propagated by the restaurant industry in order to steal more money from hard-working men, women and children of this great Nation. (And other nations too!)
Certainly the idea of the “avocado” come from some evil French chef-wizard who wanted to weaken our peoples with spoiled food rations. For the most part, he has succeeded, and is laughing in his haughty French way.
That said, I do believe in gaucamole, with is both delicious and wonderful.

My kin folks like sardines, horseradish, sauerkraut and most will eat lutefisk. Any fish that has been cured in lye has got to be dank, right?
