My boyfriend is the same way! He can't find his way 4 blocks....on a road he has traveled for 4yrs.... to the gas station and back home. I swear, he's just not smart sometimes. I, on the other hand, sometimes drive through the countryside, or downtown, and try to get lost so I know my surroundings more.

if memory serves, i sat in the passenger seat of your car with printed directions in one hand and your iphone in the other. the two were mutually exclusive. i still consider it a miracle we got to eat that day. (hahaha.)

>How can the creator of worlds and vast storylines be expected to navigate fluidly in someone else’s world?

That's what I tell my wife, but it's still frustrating to her. (And me!)

How can the creator of worlds and vast storylines be expected to navigate fluidly in someone else’s world? You want the best of both!
Google maps saves me often, but it is still weird when the map is referenced North and I am headed south. I hold the Krackberry upside down for my own bearings!
(Now, I don’t type what I want, I speak my commands and vlingo converts it. So very impressive... If it only ran on steam....)

Yeah, Sedona is pretty awesome. My brother-in-law is getting married there next autumn. Should be cool.

People who hike and get lost in Arizona in the summer sometimes die. You must have been hiking in the fall/winter, as you're still alive.

We got lost once. In Sedona, Arizona. We were hiking in the beautiful country side and the sun was going down. We weren't sure we were on the trail anymore. Eventually we found what was obviously a road and began to follow that back to home base, under moonlight and a starry sky. It was wonderful.
