I worked on this one, as I was sitting in the Spokane International Airport, fondly known as “GEG”.
This is the sound that an angry passenger might make, after sitting in the airport for 3 days, waiting for their flight to be canceled. “Geg!” Or “Geg me with some cheap peanuts.”
In fact, the fella next to me was pretty mad while I sat there, which gave me the idea for the strip. He got up a couple of times, paced around, and then finally got into the gate desk line, which was about 500 people long, I kid you not.
Here’s where I was sitting:

Traveling during the holidays does mightily geg unless you’re doing it with friends and family. And, if people don’t occasionally get grumpy, irritated and mad, then you’re doing it wrong.

Aw. ya best keep far from MSP (Minneapolis/Saint Paul) cuz we get the wind and the snow and 40 below zero (not counting wind chill). Folks here still jog, fly, get to work, walk the dog.. On New Years you can find a line for the “polarbear plunge”. Yes, we cut a great big hole to the open water in the ice and jump in the frigging ice-hole! Up here where trolls are trolls.
