Had a few days off with family, and didn’t really work on anything at all.

I did do some gouache doodling for fun, where I drew a very frightening Feratu, and some other less meaningful messing around. I don’t get to tool around in non-digital art very much, so it felt pretty good. On a side-note, having all of this freedom made it tough to decide what to work on.

I think that all of this general lack of freedom is one way that I get stuff done.

I don’t have to spend a whole bunch of time decided what to do (comics/online store building) or how to do them (digitally / X color palate). My choices have been made, and now all I have to do is execute on a daily basis.

I can’t quite get over how the next couple of months are critical to our success over the entire next year. There is much to do, and I’ve got to continue to try to find the energy (and mostly focus) to get it all done.

Book Update:

We have a low res mockup of the Monster Commute book in hand, and it’s looking really good. We’re still on schedule to receive the books sometime at the end of February, or the beginning of March.

The full quality printer’s proofs look great, and I’m really sad that I had to send them back to China.

On other news, the book will retail for $24.00. So, those of you who pre-order it now are getting a rare deal.

It’s not too late to get on the Monster Commute Traffic Novel deal:
