Part of my recent breakdown was because I had to define the visual style of a new city, Skullopolis, and I simply hadn’t had any time to devote to the matter. Then I ran off to Emerald City Comicon, and then after that, I spent another week out of town for work.
So, I’ve been in panic mode, trying to find the interest/energy to create a whole new city. Really it wasn’t such a big deal, as once I sat down and started working, it started to flow.
Now, I really like the place, and am re-energized to see how cool I can make it. It’s fun to imagine an old city built into something like the Eiffel Tower, covered in perpetual rain, and filled with the undead.
- They wouldn’t need heat, or fire.
- They would need some fleshies to eat.
- It would be damp and cold.
- It would be so dark that they’d need some electric light.
- The undead would need to wear hoods and umbrellas to keep dry. (Even the undead don’t enjoy being wet.)
