While civilized battle was fought in armor with order in the ranks, these guys wore no shirts,had fire in their eyes and did battle free form! I have heard the Norse battle prep got way beyond control.

On occasion there would be some trouble with bears getting into the barn and raiding the horse feed, scaring the horses nearly to death in the process. Well, one morning I was headed into the barn to get my day started and just happened to nearly walk into a rather sizable black bear that had come in through the back door that faced he treeline. Being surprised, the bear starting making unhappy noises... By being surprised myself, I overreacted a bit by hauling off and punching the bear right on the nose as hard as I possibly could. This caused the bear to be even more surprised and, coupled with the fact their nose is rather sensitive, gave the bear good reason to quickly leave the barn... I took the rest of the day off and went home to change my britches. Back during the time of my misspent youth I helped out at a horse stable up the road from my house…

Its a nice sunny day, a small breeze, and I'm going to go out and play with the horses.... let us know when you wanna come visit!
